Family Portraits in Esher

On Saturday I visited Sam and James for the second time to capture some pictures of little baby J. The last time I visited them was in August and he's grown so much in the last three months. He's a real cutie, but had definitely decided that it wasn't a day for smiling - but we got some beautiful sleepy shots of him to make up for it. I'm going back at Xmas and we're hoping the festiveness and sparkly lights will draw some smiles out!

Sam was really keen for me to get a photo of the family with their very excitable 2-year old dog, which presented very different challenges to working with children! He remained well behaved for his moment in front of the lens, and we got some great shots as a result.

Leafy Shoot in Weybridge

In late October I had a fab time taking some pictures of Suzie's 4-year old son, H. He was a brilliant little character and initially really enjoyed having his photo taken, after a while though the novelty wore off for him and he announced to us all that 'there had been enough photos for one day'.... after that we had our work cut out!

Suzie's flat backed on to some woods, and we took a stroll together with H's grandma to capture some photos of H playing in autumnal leaves and exploring in the trees. As always, some of my favourites...

Two Close Friends Get Married, Langshott Manor, Surrey

Two of our close friends, Chris and Rebecca, tied the knot in October. It was a wonderful, emotional day and although I was present as a guest, I was lucky enough to be able to capture some really special moments for them with my trusty 5D MII.

The church was St Michael's in Betchworth, which I later found out had been used as one of the locations in 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. Later we moved on to Langshott Manor, a beautifully restored 16th century manor which Chris and Rebecca had set their hearts on as soon as they visited it.

The happy couple were truely blessed with the weather - the sun shone throughout the afternoon creating a lovely warm autumnal feel to the day. Congratulations to Chris & Rebecca on their marriage, I wish you a long and happy future together!

An Autumnal October Shoot in Walton-upon-Thames

In October I had the pleasure of meeting Victoria and photographing her lovely 6-year old daughter who was a little star in the making! It was a beautiful autumn morning and we made our way to a park by the river that Victoria and little M like to visit.
She was fantastic to work with and I could tell that she loved having her photo taken - budding model material!

Here are some of my favourites from the morning...enjoy!
